Walmart announces the finalist for “CHRISTMAS HOME”

Its hard to believe its Christmas season again.  Today’s cool weather seems just perfect for this time of the year.  Our family has truly been blessed this year.  The addition of our Molly Kate six months ago has been more evidence of the love and grace of God.  I actually have up two big Christmas trees, three little ones, and enough tacky decorations to enter the Walmart Tour of Homes!  I am sitting at home waiting to be contacted by them any minute now.  I think the addition of the two very cheap little trees at the doorway may capture me the title of “HOME OF THE MONTH”. Look for me on “Walmart presents the finer homes of Christmas…..”  (I just hope if I win, they send a greeter to welcome my guests at the front door.)

Blessings on you and yours as we sit in our warm homes and await the arrival of Santa.  (Charlie is very worried about all the nutcrackers on the hearth….he thinks they’ll impede Santa’s progress!!!!  (As IF the tight fit down the nasty chimney isn’t enough….he has to contend with a hearthful of nutcrackers!!!!)   Another funny memory…when Charlie was almost two years old, he called nutcrackers, nutf_____ers.  Somewhere in my archives, I have that one on video!!!  Leave it to a preacher’s son.
